University of
Toledo – where my journey starts
January 15th – January 22nd
7 days of
Field trip – day 1
The year of
2012 has passed and 2013 has come.
To have come
back to the school from winter break, a lot of thoughts had come by.
To set myself
on right track I decided to have trip to my own school
I have come to
the university of Toledo for 3 years now
I came here
since 2010. I lived so busy life, and never had a chance to look back.
Maybe having
trip to the place I have been in, could help me out clearing my thoughts?
Maybe ^^*
Well, this is my dorm, Ottawa House.
Its actually divided into two : East and West.
I moved to here from other building last year, and I liked it.
when I decided to move in, I had to make decision. because Ottawa House is rather expensive compared to other residence halls.
my first year, I lived in Academic house which was 3200 dollars per smemester,
whereas Ottawa is 3700 dollars.
of course, there is some other things to look at like cafeteria, kitchens and etc.

There are cafeteria, kitchen, lounge, laundry room, and even a computer
lab.
When I first came here, nothing seems to coming into my eyes but now I can
use those utilities so well, it almost feels like my home now.
The circle in the middle is called Echo Ring.
If you stand in the middle of it, you can actually hear your own voice.
I normally
have lunch and dinner here.
I had the
foods from dining hall for years, but the foods are so varies and Random!!
Normally first
2 ~ 3 weeks, the food is really great, delicious and has many kinds.
Of course, we
eat for survivor, right?
One of really
nice thing about O-House (Ottawa House) is that each floor’s wall is covered
with pictures.
It building is
popular to art major students.
Just walking
through each stair makes me feel I am in an art gallery.
I wanted to
draw one on the wall as well, but I never had time to do so L
Oops! Here is me,
taking picture while looking at the mirror.
Someone pasted
mirror on the wall, made a great piece of art.
One sad thing
is that, there are a few lounges that are only for the art major.
We have to
swipe our student ID to get in, and I am not allowed L
Although I
asked people inside to let me open the door for me. J
That is an
elevator that I use every day to get to the classes
Very artistic.
I love it!
Well, I better
get to class now.
Bye~

Interesting introduction. You are establishing a distintive persona. At some point, you will need to make reference to some other publications/sources that relate to something on campus you want to write about.
ReplyDeleteThis post was very well done. I liked how you talked about the different aspects of Ottawa. This post would be very helpful for someone who was looking to see what dorm they wanted to live in.
