University of
Toledo – last destination
January 15th
– January 22th
7 days of
Field trip – day 5
This is
basically the last day for my trip to school.
Because I got
sick after second day,
I was not able to continue.
So I decided
to end my days with where I study the most.
The Carlson
library.
This
is place where actually many people go to study everyday
Carlson
Library opens almost 24 hours throughout a week except on Friday and Saturday.
It closes at seven in the afternoon.
Those library hours
are actually for information desks and other floors.
The first
floor is open 24 hours.
Right before
entering the library, there is The Writing Center located.
That is where
linguistic major students or TAs helping out other students with essays and
assignments.
You can sign
up for certain TA or just get help from anyone by walking in.
It is very
helpful, however, I strongly recommend for ESL students to get help from TA who
is for ESL students especially.
this is source
where you can get more information on writing center.
the first floor is mainly occupied for printers and computers.
Of course this floor is open 24 hours.
If you head downstair, there is Learning Enhancement Center. This is mainly
for the people who are having with math, physics, and statics questions.
Second floor is actually re-designed recently, and nowadays, there are many people use this place to help
each other and also this floor is where English class is held at.
As we go
higher floors, we can see it is where all the books are stored.
There are a
lot of books however, most of books are for keeping records of things.
Compared to
public library, there is a lot of books that are missing. .
There are
rooms for group studies, and lockers to
keep things locked in.
I took of picture
of western Asia
I guess I
better get home and rest. ^^*
